The GEM linear illuminators have been designed for industrial application as a response to the need to have a flexible, powerful and at the same time simple and cheap lighting. In the industrial field, most of all where the physical spaces are limited, it is necessary an optimal lighting, which is able to grant high performances and adaptability during the time. The major quality of the GEM light is the customization. For each model, it is possible to choose between different colours, including IR, UV and multicolour. Moreover, the length of the item can be millimetrically defined on the basis of the specific necessity. The fixing system of these illuminators is very flexible thanks to the lateral fixing bases which allow an angular regulation useful to direct the luminous flux when it is necessary.

SOME MODELS:

The GEM series includes various models, one for every specific need: GEM: besides the standard transparent or opaline cover, it can be assembled a secondary lens which closes the luminous flux to 10°, it is especially used in vision systems with linear cameras;

GEMX4 and GEMX4S: composed by four illuminators placed in a square form (or rectangular), this system is mainly used in the Machine Vision Sector to illuminate the product along the 4 sides at the same time (GEMX4) or alternatively along every single side (GEMX4S), useful to generate 3D images.

GEMPC: this model is the only one able to grant a IP69K protection degree, making the illuminator suitable for every application where there is the need to illuminate areas in contacts with liquids. It is used as an alternative to the neon light sources, studied for machinery and work stations in the sorting machines, food or packaging sectors.

GEM CUSTOM MODEL: Finally, the GEM series is often the starting point for the development of new illuminators dedicated to special applications.

As well as all the Genesi products, the GEM series lends itself to both electrical (with over 100 types of led circuits to be integrated) and mechanical personalization (such as custom lengths and particular fixing methods).
