This new generation of Mega Ring lights meets the needs of our more demanding customers who are looking for a high performance lighting which has to be practical, stable, durable and powerful, with flexible dimensions, driving modes and uniform illumination for new machine vision applications. Thanks to Genesi internal resources and skills, GEST130, GEST200 and GEST300 were born. The 300 version is characterized by modular electronics which allows to have diameters and convergent inclinations of the leds on request. The main innovation is the presence of an integrated electronics at high performance, which provides 4 different driving modes (continuous, semi-continuous, strobe with PNP or NPN triggers, analog regulation) and a microcontroller that monitors the pulse duration and the maximum temperature.

The standard features of the new Mega Ring lights are:

• Choice among 18 wavelengths, from the ultraviolet to the white, colours and all the infrared including the SWIR ones;

• Lenses with the following beam angles: 10°,30°, 60° or 90°;

• M12 5 pole connector;

• IP65 protection degree;

• Transparent, satin or opaline covers;

• Double fixing ring nut.

These lights can be tailored, hereunder some examples:

• Addition of a polarising filter;

• Additional protection up to IP69K;

• Different diameter (GEST300 from 250 to 500 mm);

• Led convergence (GEST300 or similar, from -15° to +50°);

• Photometric stereo mode.

Through the GEST300 it is possible to get a convergent illumination, thanks to the possibility of leds inclination. This characteristic makes it suitable for applications where it is necessary to obtain a very high power and uniform illumination on objects with specific dimensions.
